More steampunk jewelry! This one is for another outfit of mine that I'll hopefully have done in a month.

Vintage Swarovski Ruby triangle "Trillion" stone (each side measures 25mm, it's huge!), various brass findings, watch gears and innards, brass clock hands, 20pp Burgundy Swarovski chatons (set in the tips of the "snowflake" stamping in the very back of the brooch), and 2 Swarovski Ruby 6mm Tiffany-set drops.

I might end up changing out the clock hands for some different ones before I call this totally finished.

I photographed the brooch on a swatch of the fabric I'm using for my corset for this costume... it matches almost perfectly! :) I love color-shift crossweave fabric...

question: what did you use to keep it all together, and where did you get the parts?

this piece is highly fascinating :aww:

Hi! I mainly two two different glues to assemble my pieces - E6000 for large or heavy bits, and G-S Hypo Cement for smaller details, rhinestones, etc.

The parts I get from a variety of sources, but my main suppliers for rhinestones are dreamtimecreations.com, glitzonline.com, and the ebay sellers jpstarr, heartsdesires1, and smokeybear19. For random brass filigrees, stampings, and stone settings I usually purchase from costumejewelrysupplies.com, and I buy the watch gears from mantofev.com. Whew!

Thanks :).
