My new Sheryl Nome outfit I debuted at AX on Saturday. I'm really happy with how everything turned out except for the gloves. The PVC I used didn't stretch as much as I thought it would, so they turned out too small and are pulling funny around the lace-ups. Need to redo them before I wear this again.
Fun fact: the reason I chose this costume - not only because I liked it - was because it would give me an excuse to use terrible glitter tulle for the skirt. I trail fuchsia glitter! I built in a pair of metallic spandex booty shorts under the skirt to try and hold on to some remaining scrap of modesty, lol. Me and my friends nicknamed this particular outfit "space hooker". I feel I shouldn't have to explain why... My makeup really got washed out in this pic. I don't look so great, but it's a nice shot of the entire outfit! Photo by conpix.net~ |
