Amano Aerith bracer by Space-Invader Amano Aerith bracer by Space-Invader
The cuff I made for my steampunk costume. The base cuff was purchased from a bellydance seller on eBay. Some of the molded "stripes" were copper when I received the bracelet, so I painted them over with some gold metal enamel.

18x13mm Swarovski oval stones and 2mm Swarovski rhinestone chain, all set in brass. I added a few 5mm flatbacks around the large oval stones. The colors used (in order) are Jonquil, Light Peach, Light Rose, Light Amethyst, and Tanzanite.

Cuff is approximately 3" in width. I am currently making a second one, as these will also double as the gauntlets for my Amano-style Aerith costume.

Thats lovely. How did you get a hold of the different crystals? Buy them at an art store..?

I actually buy my crystals and such online. My favorite places for rhinestones are dreamtimecreations.com, glitzonline.com (where I got the large oval stones), austriancrystalchain.com (where I got the chain), and the eBay sellers heartsdesires1, jpstarr, and smokeybear19. For stone settings, filigrees, other assorted findings and some really hard-to-find vintage stones I like costumejewelrysupplies.com. I've purchased from all these shops so I can personally vouch for them.

Hope that helps :).
